and Gladwyne Software Surety Announce Bonded Guarantee for CRM Projects
Pivotal Corporation and Gladwyne Software Surety (GSS) announced a new
initiative that provides a third-party guarantee for KPMG implementations
of Pivotal solutions. As the first-ever insurance-backed IT initiative,
this program intends to establish true accountability for IT
implementation. The insurance - called a surety bond - ensures that KPMG
implementations of Pivotal solutions are on time and on budget. The surety
bonds are issued by several leading insurance companies and are based on
the risk mitigation principles used successfully in the insurance industry
for more than a century

BroadVision, Inc. announced that Charitableway, an Internet company that

Tally Systems Corp. announced a new professional service offering for the
more than 15,500 Microsoft Certified Solution Providers (MCSPs) worldwide,

reporting capabilities for Microsoft Exchange environments. Built around

Quintus introduced Quintus WebCenter(TM) 2.4, a set of software for

Lexmark Selects Lionbridge to Provide Localization
Services
Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. announced that it has been selected by
Lexmark International, Inc., a developer of printing solutions and
products, to provide product localization services in 20 languages for
Lexmark's Consumer Printer Division. More than 50 percent of Lexmark's
business is generated outside of the United States and Lexmark is
constantly looking for ways to continue to improve and respond to the
needs of its customers. Offering localized versions of our products
supports that mission and aims to help them ensure a higher quality of

Onyx Software & Cap Gemini Announce Alliance
Onyx Software Corporation and Cap Gemini announced a regional alliance to
deliver Web-based customer relationship management and e-services
solutions to financial services companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Cap
Gemini will resell and implement Onyx software throughout the Asia-Pacific
region.
eGain and Blue Martini Team Up
eGain Communications and Blue Martini Software announced that they have
joined forces to offer eCommerce companies a solution that integrates
eGain Mail with Blue Martini's E-Merchandising System. eGain's Commerce
Bridge pulls transaction data and other information from Blue Martini's
E-Merchandising System into eGain Mail -- giving customer representatives
a 360 degree view of the customer. The Commerce Bridge also provides eGain
Mail customer profile and history information on-demand to Blue Martini.
Biztravel.com Selects eShare Technologies
eShare Technologies announced that Biztravel.com, a business
travel-focused division of Rosenbluth Interactive, has selected eShare's
NetAgent solution to provide real-time online customer service on its web
site. Biztravel.com selected NetAgent to instant messaging, e-mail
correspondence and live chats with agents.
Foresight Partners With SalesLogix to Offer
Solutions for Mid-Sized Businesses
Foresight Solutions, Inc. announced it has become a business partner with
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based SalesLogix Corporation. The agreement will enable
Foresight to sell and install SalesLogix customer relationship management
(CRM) software and related SalesLogix solutions.
Unisys Teams With Genesys to Assist Webbank
Direct
Unisys Corporation and Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc.
announced that 1st Webbank Direct, an Internet initiative operating as a
division of Sovereign Bank, has selected Unisys and Genesys to provide an
integrated e-business solution. The solution will include a Web-enabled
contact center, computer telephony integration (CTI) capabilities,
training, and testing services. Unisys will furnish the proactive sales
and service component of FBA Navigator, a Unisys e-@ction Banking
Solution. This application will facilitate customer contact via the
Internet and the contact center, and will be integrated with Genesys
interaction management and CTI software, including its Internet Suite.
Servigistics Parts Planning Software to be Used
by Subaru
Servigistics announced the deployment of Servigistics inventory planning
and forecasting software at Subaru of New England, which stocks and
distributes over 8,600 service parts to 60 Subaru dealers in New England.
Servigistics was successfully implemented in only 4 weeks and integrated
to Subaru's existing NT-based ERP system. The software will facilitate
Subaru's parts planning both internally and externally, giving dealers
access to the system via the Internet and enabling them to remotely
approve recommended replenishment levels.
Peregrine Signs E-Procurement Solution Providers
Peregrine Systems, Inc. announced it has signed agreements with Arthur
Andersen, LLP; KPMG; IBM Global Services, ENTEX Information Services; and
TAM, Inc. to provide consulting and implementation services for its
Get.Resources! e-Procurement application. Get.Resources!, an application
in Peregrine Systems Get.It! employee self-service solution suite for
company intranets, is designed to improve employee productivity and reduce
operating expenses.
Firstwave Partners with ERP Software Vendor
Firstwave Technologies, Inc. announced a partnership with Intuitive
Manufacturing Systems, Inc. (IMS), developer of MRP9000; Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) software for manufacturers. IMS will integrate and
resell Firstwave's web-based suite of relationship management applications
through its worldwide distributor network, providing customers with an
extension to MRP9000. Additionally, IMS will implement the web-based
application suite for its internal use.
