Silknet Software, Inc. announced that danschocolates.com, a new on-line chocolate brand, will implement Silknet's e-business solutions to create personalized experiences for Dan's Chocolates' on-line customers. Dan's Chocolates is a former subsidiary of Bluemountain.com. Bluemountain.com was recently purchased by ExciteAtHome. Compaq and Exchange Applications Forge Partnership
Exchange Applications, Inc. announced a new reseller agreement with Compaq Computer Corporation. Compaq will re-sell Exchange Applications' VALEX™ software to its clients as one of its components within its Marketing Automation for CRM enterprise solutions offering. Calico Acquires ConnectInc.com
E-commerce software and services provider Calico Commerce Inc. said that it will acquire ConnectInc.com, a provider of business-to-business E- commerce products, for $90 million in stock. Calico plans to integrate technology from ConnectInc.com's MarketStream 2.0 product, including product cataloging, order management, and business to business E-commerce trading, into its eSales product.
