J.Crew Selects Kana to Prepare for Holiday E-Commerce Explosion
Kana Communications announced that J.Crew, a traditional retailer and e-commerce site, has chosen the Kana platform to handle its online customer communications during this holiday season. J.Crew deployed Kana's hosted version, Kana Online, providing customers with the same personalized attention they experience when ordering from the catalog, or shopping in the storefront businesses. J.Crew has joined more than 40 customers already hosted on the Kana Online platform. (

Imagine USA Receives Funding
Keppel T&T, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Keppel Communications (Keppel), has selected Imagine Ltd (Imagine), an Internet Protocol (IP) communication solutions provider, as its technology partner for Internet/Intranet-based customer care solutions. As part of the partnership agreement, Keppel will invest US$5 million for a 11% equity stake in Imagine. In addition, Keppel will become a key distributor for Imagine’s Visual MeetingTM , a Live Web-enabled customer support software for the virtual call center which delivers data information as well as voice and video capabilities to the desktop over the IP network. eShare Technologies Reorganizes Operations
eShare Technologies announced that it completed a reduction in force of approximately 95 employees, principally related to its Call Center business. The Company will take a charge in the current quarter for the reduction in force and certain transfer activities. The amount of the charge was not disclosed.
