The McKenna Group and RightPoint Inc. announced an alliance focused on
helping Global 1000 and emerging e-business companies successfully embrace
Real-Time emarketing. The alliance will provide consulting and product
solutions that enable these companies to execute targeted and personalized
real-time marketing strategies. The McKenna Group and RightPoint are
currently working jointly in client engagements and will engage in
co-marketing and market development activities.
E.piphany Announces New Products
E.piphany, Inc. announced the general availability of its E.4(TM)
applications for e-commerce, including the next version of E-Commerce
Reporting and Analysis and a new application, E-Commerce Campaign
Management. With this release, Epiphany E.4 solutions now natively
integrate with BroadVision's One-to-One(TM) applications. The
E.piphany(TM) e-commerce solutions enable companies to develop a new
understanding of how the Web affects the enterprise and how businesses can
evolve to effectively interact with individual customers.
Cap Gemini and Clarify Sign Alliance Agreement
Cap Gemini and Clarify Inc. announced a worldwide alliance to deliver
integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions to companies
throughout the world. Under the terms of the agreement, Cap Gemini, a
worldwide information technology (IT) and management consulting firm is
formalizing its established business relationship with Clarify. Cap Gemini
has one of the largest Clarify practices in Europe, and the global
agreement is focused on extending its position worldwide.
Primus Partners With Chili!Soft
Primus and Chili!Soft have announced an agreement to include Chili!Soft's
ASP technology in all Primus Web products, providing customers the added
functionality of ASP technology across multiple platforms. Under the
agreement, Primus will automatically incorporate Chili!Soft ASP technology
into all current and future Web products. Users of Primus' Web-based
eService tools, including Primus Interchange, will now be able to
customize their environments and develop dynamic Web pages without regard
to platform constraints.

eShare Technologies Partners With iWon.com
eShare Technologies has partnered with iWon.com, a new CBS-backed
destination Internet portal combining search, content and functionality
with a large guaranteed cash giveaway. Launched this month, iWon.com is
giving away to its users $10,000 every day, $1 million every month and $10
million on Tax Day (April 17, 2000). iWon.com chose eShare to help
increase visitor traffic, loyalty and satisfaction, and manage online
communications.
Davis Software Tele-Scope
Davis Software Engineering announced today Web-enabled features to their
CRM solution, Tele-Scope. Real time Chat and Co-Browsing features have
been added to enhance the electronic CRM functionality of Tele-Scope and
increase the management of communication channels. Tele-Scope is used by
wholesale, retail, and electronics companies nationwide (Coca-Cola, Baylor
Healthcare) as a multi-functional, CRM solution.
Down to One ServiceWare
ServiceWare Corporation of Canada announced that it is changing the
company's name to ServicePlus Corporation. The name change aligns with the
company's ServicePlus line of service management systems (SMS) and a
commitment to its core competency in delivering service management
solutions as a component of customer relationship management (CRM). Note:
ServiceWare Inc. (rightanswers.com) is a different company and is not
changing its name.
Primus eService Software Powers GTE
Internetworking Customer Support
Primus announced that GTE Internetworking's Information Technology (IT)
department, has selected Primus software products to provide an enhanced
level of eService and customer support. GTE Internetworking, a unit of GTE
Corporation offers a full spectrum of integrated Internet services to both
consumers and Fortune 500 companies using IP networking technologies, will
be using Primus products to help resolve customer support issues more
efficiently and effectively.
OAO Technology Solutions, Signs Agreement With
Siebel
OAO Technology announced that it has entered into a Value Added Industry
Remarketer (VAIR) agreement with Siebel Systems. This new agreement
permits OAOT to resell and/or host licenses of Siebel Front Office
Applications for public sector and commercial customers throughout the
United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico. The company can now offer
design, installation and hosting of Siebel solutions.
Peregrine Launches First Hosted Version of
Consolidated Service Desk
Peregrine Systems®, Inc. announced the immediate availability of the
first Consolidated Service Desk (CSD) solution offered under an
application service provider (ASP) model. E-ServiceCenter(TM), the hosted
version of Peregrine Systems ServiceCenter(TM), will include all of the
application modules including: Problem Management, Configuration
Management, Systems Management, Change Management, Service Level Agreement
Management and even Work Management.
Kana Announces Record Third Quarter 1999 Results
Revenues for the quarter marked the largest quarter in Kana's history at
$3,596,000, an increase of 525% compared to revenues of $575,000 for the
same quarter in the prior fiscal year. In addition, excluding
acquisition-related charges and the amortization of deferred stock
compensation, the company recorded a net loss for the quarter of $5.4
million or $(.27) per share, compared to a net loss of $1.8 million or
$(.14) per share for the same period in fiscal 1998.
Precision Response Reports Third Quarter Results
Precision Response reported record revenues of $57.0 million for the third
quarter ended September 30, 1999, up 27% from $45.0 million reported for
the same period in 1998. Net income doubled to $2.4 million or $0.11 per
share (diluted) for the third quarter, compared to net income of $1.2
million or $0.06 per share (diluted) before restructuring and other
special charges, for the same period one year ago.
SITEL Reports 29% Increase in Revenues
SITEL Corporation announced results for the third quarter and nine-months
ended September 30, 1999. For the quarter, revenues were $189.6 million,
up 29.2% from $146.8 million in the third quarter of 1998. Excluding a
$9.6 million non- cash write down of certain software, operating income
was $10.0 million, or 5.3% of revenues, which compares to $5.1 million, or
3.5% of revenue in the comparable period of 1998.
