Convergys Announces New Billing Solution
Convergys Corporation, announced at Telecom '99 in Geneva, the availability of a new billing solution created specifically for the wireless carriers operating outside the United States. The new solution is known as Atlys (SM) and is available to be run by clients on a licensed basis or to be managed by Convergys in its own data centers. Atlys is the first in a series of next-generation information and customer relationship management solutions that will be known as Convergys Connections (SM).

Ventix Offers Answer Network
Ventix Systems Inc. announced a new solution suite that will enable companies to deliver online self-support. SPS Changes Name

Octane Secures Second Round Financing
Octane Software, Inc. announced it has closed $13 million in its second round of financing. The financing was led by Octane’s newest investor, Norwest Venture Partners. In addition to Norwest Venture Partners, the first round venture capital investors of Greylock, Sigma, and Lucent Venture Partners, the investment subsidiary of global communications giant Lucent Technologies, continued their participation.
