Kana Communications, Inc. launched Kana 4, a suite of applications that deliver an e-businesses communication solution for electronic direct marketing, e-commerce and customer service. In addition to a new release of Kana Response, a solution for online customer service, Kana 4 now includes Kana Connect, a permission-based electronic direct marketing solution, and Kana Commerce, a transaction-related communications solution. Giggo.com Selects Clarify eFrontOffice for Web-Based Financial Services
Clarify Inc. announced that online auto financing provider Giggo.com has selected Clarify eFrontOffice to enable Web-based sales and service of auto loans. A division of the financial services business unit of debis AG, Giggo.com is the sole auto financing partner of Yahoo.com and AutoNationDirect.com. Giggo.com will use Clarify eFrontOffice to provide fast responses to the most common customer questions, including how to use the Web site, loan status, credit analysis, and funding. Clarify will also enable Giggo.com to create targeted marketing campaigns based on Web-page activity.

Peregrine Systems Acquires Knowlix
Peregrine Systems®, Inc. announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Knowlix Corporation, a provider of knowledge management solutions for help desk and customer support centers. The iKnow(TM) family of software is currently integrated with Peregrine Systems ServiceCenter(TM) and will be integrated into all other applications in Peregrine Systems Infrastructure Management suite including: AssetCenter(TM), FacilityCenter(TM), FleetAnywhere(TM) and e.fleet(TM).

Pivotal Corporation announced Pivotal eRelationship 2, a B2B Web solution for increasing revenue by enhancing relationships with customers and business partners, and conducting personalized online commerce. The Pivotal eRelationship 2 solution fuses an eCommerce server -- the Pivotal eRelationship CommerceServer -- and a business portal, the Pivotal eRelationship SmartPortal, with Pivotal's customer relationship management (CRM) applications to establish a Web platform for eBusiness Relationship Management (eBRM).

InfoUSA Selects SalesLogix to Automate Interact Selling Network
SalesLogix Corporation announced that infoUSA, Inc. has selected SalesLogix as its enterprise-wide provider of eCRM solutions. The contract includes the full suite of SalesLogix® and CommerceLogixTM products for infoUSA’s community of 1500 resellers, 700 call center professionals, 300 direct sales representatives, and full suite of 12 e-commerce sites. infoUSA plans to streamline customer interactions by tying together its entire interactive selling network.
