Acquires Search Engine, SupportHelp.com
Service911.com announced today that it is acquiring SupportHelp.com, an
online resource for information on technology-oriented companies and
products. The search engine gives users the capability of finding contact
information on over 5,500 technology-based companies and over 18,000
technology products. Service911.com, which originated from Dallas-based
FIXX MY PC and went live this month, is an Internet-based, self-help
company which offers technology services. The Web site has the ability to
dispatch on-site computer services through a customer’s online request
as well as free computer-related support services to both the home and

Help Desk Institute (HDI) announced the availability of a new web site to
facilitate job postings, job searches, and employment assistance for the
help desk and support services industry. The new site, www.jobdesk.com, is

royalblue and Siemens Sign Deal
Building on their existing relationship, a partnership deal has been
signed between royalblue technologies plc and Siemens Communications Ltd,
to present a more complete customer interaction solution to call centres
and help desks across the UK. royalblue’s CTI middleware communicates
with the voice switching and routing infrastructure of Siemens DX
Communications Server. Incoming callers are identified by the system and
automatically communicated to the agent’s PC, together with a full
history of related past calls.
Network Service-Level Management Companies Choose
FirstSense
FirstSense Software, Inc. announced that players in network service-level
management reporting have selected FirstSense technology to bring
end-to-end application response time measurement to their customers. Since
the beginning of the year, Concord Communications(R), DeskTalk(R) Systems,
InfoVista and ProactiveNet have all licensed FirstSense technology to
extend their product lines. In addition, FirstSense announced the
availability of its FSagent™/MIB, a light intelligent agent that is
specially designed for integration with third-party products. The agent is
distributed to end-user client systems, and continuously monitors and
collects information on the end-to-end performance of application
transactions as seen by end users.
Voicestream Wireless Selects Rightpoint
RightPoint Inc. announced that VoiceStream Wireless Corp. is implementing
the RightPoint Real-Time eMarketing Suite to personalize their customer
sales and support website. RightPoint enables Voicestream web site
visitors to view service offerings and recommendations tailored to their
individual needs. Use of the RightPoint eMarketing Suite allows
VoiceStream to further deliver on its "Get More" commitment of
offering more minutes, more features, and more service at the best price.
Mayo Foundation Signs Contract with Janus
Technologies
Janus Technologies announced that the Mayo Foundation has chosen Janus
Technologies' Argis(R) as an IT asset management solution. Specifically,
Mayo will use Argis to manage hardware and software contracts, verify
vendor invoices, manage consulting agreements, and track cost and payment
streams. In addition, Mayo is utilizing Janus' professional services for
implementation and project management assistance.
