Siebel 99 Ships

Siebel Systems today announced that Siebel 99 is now generally available. Siebel 99 represents the integration of the technologies from Siebel Systems and Scopus Technology following the merger of the two companies seven months ago. Web-based, Siebel 99 creates a product family featuring one integrated and extended set of business objects, one common data model and one simplified user interface. It also includes a suite of upgrade and migration tools, programs and services for both Siebel and former Scopus customers to move to Siebel 99.

IMA and Comverse Announce Product Integration

IMA today announced a joint technology and marketing alliance with the Comverse Information Systems division of Comverse Technology, Inc. As part of the agreement, IMA has built an interface from its EDGE® customer interaction software product to digital voice and data recording products from Comverse. This creates an integrated solution that enables users to capture, retrieve and verify inbound and outbound voice and data transactions conducted through their call centers.
