Cole-Parmer Selects IMA for Integrated Telesales and Customer Service Applications

IMA announced the Cole-Parmer Instrument Co. has licensed and is implementing its MSM/400 sales, marketing and customer service product for the IBM AS/400. The Vernon Hills, Ill.-based distributor of scientific equipment will use the system on an enterprise-wide basis to streamline internal information operations, handle sales efforts and, in turn, improve customer communications. In addition, integration with the company's inventory control and shipping systems will make all pertinent customer service data available to agents on-line.

Applix Announces Q398 Earnings of $0.02

Applix, Inc. today announced its results for the third with total revenue of $12.0 million compared to $12.2 million or a 2% decrease from the comparable period. Net income for the third quarter of 1998 was $0.2 million or $0.02 per share compared to a net income of $0.2 million or $0.02 per share for the same period in 1997. For the nine month period, the Front-Office Business Application sector represents more than 60% of Applix license revenue.

APAC Reports Third Quarter Results

APAC TeleServices, Inc. today reported consolidated financial results for its third quarter of 1998. The Company reported net income of $3.4 million or $0.07 per share for the third quarter of 1998 compared to $2.0 million of net income or $0.04 per share for the third quarter of 1997. Earnings were $20.0 million for the thirteen weeks ended September 27, 1998, compared to $11.0 million for the same period of 1997.

Peregrine Systems Reports Record Second Quarter Financial Results

Peregrine Systems(R), Inc. (today announced record quarterly revenues and profits for its second fiscal quarter and the first six months of fiscal 1999 excluding one- time charges relating to acquisitions. Revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 1998 grew 143% to a record $29.7 million, compared with revenues of $12.2 million for the quarter ended September 30, 1997.
