Blue Sky Software Announces New Version of the Industry Standard in Help Authoring
Blue Sky(R) Software
Corporation, provider of help authoring solutions, announces the
upcoming release of RoboHELP(R) Office 7.0 in late October, 1998. This new
version of the authoring suite includes RoboHELP
Classic, RoboHELP HTML Edition and 16 Help tools.
Astea Unveils Development Plan and Migration Strategy At Annual Users Conference
Astea International, Inc. unveiled
new ServiceAlliance development plans at the ADONUS
International User Group Conference.
Astea had already
made an important step in this direction with the divestiture
of the Bendata subsidiary.
A comprehensive migration path will be in place by mid-1999
for existing users of Astea's DISPATCH-1.
Current plans include full product support for the next four
to six years for those customers on recent versions of
DISPATCH-1, and the establishment of a dedicated PSO operation
to support the migration effort.
Peregrine Systems Adds Silicon Energy
Peregrine Systems(R), Inc. announced today that it has
selected Silicon Energy and its Enerscape(TM)
software product to assist Peregrine Systems clients in managing their energy
use and reduce their operating costs.
Enerscape v1.0 is an energy management tool
available that allows multiple users to monitor and control energy consumption and
operating status for facilities anywhere
in the world.

Computer Support Technologies Launches Rescue Sales Partner Program
Computer Support Technologies (CST) announced today its partner program
for Rescue's Internet-based tools for diagnostic data collection and problem identification.
Compatible companies are eligible to receive a portion of the revenue from Rescue
sales and per-transaction agreements, and with the Sales Partner Program, they may also choose to
offer Rescue with their own service packages.
Sykes Announces
Expansion in Charlotte, NC
Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated today announced that it will expand its existing
business presence in Charlotte, NC and offer high-end technical support services
to an unnamed client. The Company expects to expand employment levels up to an
additional 500 people. Sykes currently employs 100 in Charlotte.
West TeleServices Corporation Opens New Call Center
in McAllen, Texas
West TeleServices Corporation has announced it will open a
new call center in McAllen, Texas, creating
approximately 300 jobs.
The 13,000 square-foot center is scheduled to be operational in November.
Aspect Telecommunications Announces Record
Revenues for Third Quarter 1998
Aspect Telecommunications Corporation today
reported record revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 1998.
Revenues of $138.0 million represent a 9.4 percent
increase over the prior quarter and a 39 percent
increase over the same quarter last year.
In addition, the company announced today the restructuring
of its executive team in preparation for the company's next stage of
business expansion. This announcement includes the realignment of
responsibilities among operating executives and the
appointment of a new executive to head the company's products and technology area.
