Prudential Claims Call Center Designated A Best-Practice Organization By AP&QC

Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance Company's (PRUPAC) Claim Department Call Center has been chosen as a best-practice organization by the American Productivity and Quality Center (AP&QC), Houston. As a best-practice organization, PRUPAC is hosting 10 companies for an on-site visit of its Horsham, Pennsylvania facility on Thursday, October 1.

Teligent Rolls Out Information Technology Systems

Teligent, a communications company, today announced that it has installed the key information technology systems -- including billing, network monitoring, customer service and sales automation -- to support the commercial launch of Teligent's unified package of communications services. Among the companies working with Teligent on its IT systems are Clarify Inc. (customer communication system) and Siebel Systems, Inc. (sales force automation).

West TeleServices Corporation, an independent teleservices company, has announced it will open a new call center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, creating approximately 1,000 jobs. The 46,800 square-foot center is scheduled to be operational in late October.
