Stream International and Molloy Pilot Call Center

Stream International Inc., a provider of outsource technical support services, has completed pilot implementations of a unique model for knowledge- based customer support. Initial results from Stream call centers in Canton, Mass., and Amsterdam, The Netherlands, indicate the new service will significantly increase first call resolution rates and reduce Stream's agent training costs, enhancing Stream's leadership in the support service industry.

3Si Selects ServiceWare's Knowledge-Pak Desktop Suite For Knowledge-based Self-Support Via the Internet

ServiceWare Inc. and 3Si Holdings, Inc., a software manufacturer and systems integrator headquartered in Englewood, Colo., today announced that 3Si will be offering ServiceWare's knowledge content as part of its Web-based support solution.

APAC Cements Deal with SAIC

APAC TeleServices, Inc., a provider of outsourced customer service and sales, today announced that it has been awarded a contract from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to establish two customer service call centers in support of a U.S. government contract. The contract will be funded for 390 seats, and is valued at approximately $10.8 million.

eGain's Email Management System Helps BigStar.com

eGain(tm) Communications Corp., a developer of customer service solutions for electronic commerce, today announced that BigStar Entertainment, Inc. an online filmed entertainment superstore with more than 100,000 titles, is deploying eGain's EMS (Email Management System) to turn customer service into a business opportunity. In conjunction, eGain announced shipment of version 1.0 of the EMS solution.

Primus Teams with Internet Business Advantages, Inc.

Primus, a provider of problem resolution and knowledge management software and services, announced that it has selected Internet Business Advantages, Inc. (IBA), a provider of Internet consulting and systems integration services, to join its Consulting Alliance Partners (CAP) program.

Calico Technology, Inc., a provider of eSales and interactive marketing software and services, will announce tomorrow that it raised $11 million in mezzanine financing, led by Worldview Technology Partners. With this funding Calico will continue to expand its product in the enterprise software market.
