Inference Corp. today announced a product licensing and services agreement with America Online Inc. under which AOL will use Inference's family of customer service products in its call centers for customer service. Once the research is on the screen in front of them, consultants are quickly able to provide accurate, detailed and easy-to-understand solutions to AOL members.

Edify Announces Alliance With SMS to Deliver Healthcare Focused Self-Service Solutions

Corporation today announced a software licensing and distribution agreement with Shared Medical Systems Corporation, a provider of healthcare solutions. Under terms of the agreement, SMS will use Edify's Electronic Workforce software to accelerate the delivery of self service benefits to SMS' large clinical customer base. SMS' existing clinical applications will now be able to alert physicians, clinicians, and patients about critical healthcare information-primarily through the Internet and interactive voice response (IVR) channels.
