Web-Based System From Applied Innovation Management Offers Ability to Attach Application Notes, Service Packs and Patches

AIM has introduced the Online SupportCenter(TM), a web-based help desk system for external hardware and software product support that combines classic help desk functionality with new technology that makes it possible to attach application notes, service packs and patches to the database. This "large object" capability permits users to submit problems with supporting documents such as error messages for faster problem resolution.

GWI Software Partners With ENTEX Information Services To Provide Nationwide Customer Service Application Deployment, Implementation, and Support

GWI Software, a provider of groupware-based client/server and web customer service solutions, today announced an alliance with ENTEX Information Services, a PC systems integrator, to provide GWI Software customers with on-site support services for their suite of applications. Under terms of the agreement, ENTEX's ELIteam engineers, a team of more than 200 Lotus Certified Professionals, will install, deploy and configure GWI's Help! for Lotus Notes, WebHelp!, and Force! for Lotus Notes applications.

Siebel Systems, Inc.today announced that Prudential, a life insurance company in the U.K., has chosen Siebel Sales Enterprise as its Enterprise Relationship Management system. Prudential has licensed more than 4,000 seats and anticipates Siebel will be initially deployed throughout its direct sales force to provide a comprehensive end-to-end view of every customer interaction.

Chinatrust Commercial Bank Selects Genesys' Call Center Solution

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. announced today its recent selection by Chinatrust Commercial Bank (Chinatrust) to provide its computer telephony software solution at the bank's new customer service call center in Taipei, one of Taiwan's first CTI-enabled call centers. Unisys, a key channel partner in Taiwan, will work closely with Genesys to install the system, with live operation beginning early August.

Investor Group Terminates Discussions on Acquisition

Gary L. West, Mary E. West and Troy L. Eaden announced today that they have withdrawn their proposal to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Common Stock of West TeleServices Corporation not currently owned by the group, after being informed by the Special Committee appointed by the Company's Board of Directors that the Special Committee would not be able to recommend the group's final proposal of $15.50 per share.
