Oracle
Attracts 50 Customers to Front
Office Service Applications
Oracle Corp.
today announced that 50 additional customers have purchased Oracle Front
Office Service applications since March 1998. Oracle Service is
a solution for post-sale customer support that integrates front
office applications such as sales and marketing with enterprise resource
planning (ERP) systems such as manufacturing and financial management. New
customers include American Homestar, Ameritech, Candescent Technologies, ICG
Communications, and Shindaiwa, Inc.
Great-West Life Deploys Siebel Sales Enterprise To Create
Team-Selling System
Siebel Systems, Inc. today announced
that The Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company,
a North American insurance company, has fully-deployed
Siebel Sales Enterprise as its Enterprise Relationship Management system.
The company is using its 350 Siebel seats
across 30 U.S. sales offices.
Former Oracle Executive Joins Remedy Corporation
Remedy(R) Corporation today announced
the appointment of Jacques Sebag to the new position of vice president
and general manager of European (EMEA) operations.
Remedy Board Authorizes Share Repurchase
Remedy(R) Corporation announced today that its board of directors
has authorized the repurchase of up to 3 million
shares, or approximately 10 percent of Remedy's
outstanding shares of common stock over the next twelve months.
``We believe our stock repurchase compliments our on-going investments
in the business,'' said Larry Garlick, Chairman and
Chief Executive officer. ``This share repurchase
program is an expression of our confidence in our sales productivity and
product development efforts.''
