Avaya Launches Service Provider-Delivered Solutions
Avaya announced the availability of new communications solutions that service providers will be able to sell to business customers. The Avaya solutions will enable service providers to offer their business customers IP telephony and contact center applications through a new, usage- based monthly fee.

VocalData Taps Convedia to Launch SIP-Based Conferencing Solution
VocalData announced the availability of its new session initiation protocol (SIP)-based conferencing server, enabling operators of all sizes and large enterprises to scale in processing power and port capacity to meet their current and future conferencing resource requirements at a competitive price per port. VocalData has entered into a distribution agreement to resell Convedia's media servers as an integral part of the SIP-based conferencing solution. The new solution, which has already been deployed by several operators, is comprised of Convedia's CMS-1000 and CMS-6000 media servers combined with Version 5 of VocalData's application server.

UniPress Expands in Europe
UniPress Software announced that it has expanded distribution efforts throughout Europe for FootPrints, its flagship line of web-based service desk solutions.
