PeopleSoft Announces Campus Solutions 8.9
PeopleSoft announced PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions 8.9. Campus Solutions 8.9 enables institutions to streamline campus operations, reduce costs with self-service tools, and better align IT and administrative functions with the academic mission of learning institutions. The solution includes a new modular architecture, expanded global capabilities, usability enhancements, and significant new functionality. Campus Solutions 8.9 also supports PeopleSoft's "person" model, a data-model that allows institutions to manage all full time and contingent staff, students, faculty, and employees with a single database.

FrontRange Solutions Extends User Reach With HEAT and GoldMine
Companies that need to provide a mobile workforce with HEAT and GoldMine's critical capability can leverage new versions of iHEAT and iGoldMine from FrontRange Solutions. Newly released versions of each solution optimize the value that thousands invest in HEAT and or GoldMine by providing workers with "everywhere" access via a Web browser, and reducing the costs associated with administering desktop resources. VimpelCom Deploys Amdocs CRM
Amdocs and Open Joint Stock Company "Vimpel-Communications" announced that VimpelCom has successfully completed the roll-out of Amdocs CRM across 65 regions in Russia. Following the successful deployment of Amdocs billing system in 2002, VimpelCom, with help from ARSTEL Consulting, now has fully integrated its billing and CRM systems and optimized its customer service business processes. The integration brings VimpelCom closer to the vision of integrated customer management, the ultimate goal of which is to have the systems alignment and business agility necessary for continued customer loyalty, growth and overall profitability.

Witness Systems Announces Third Quarter Results
Witness Systems announced financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2004. Under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), third quarter revenue was a record $35.3 million and net income was a record $2.9 million, or $0.11 per share, up from $0.06 per share in the second quarter and a loss of ($0.11) per share in the third quarter of last year.   (about Witness)

eMarketer Makes Prediction Of Retail Sales
eMarketer announced it expects online retail sales to reach more than $22.34 billion in the fourth quarter, up 27.6% from Q4 2003. The projection, issued by the firm today, is based on eMarketer's analysis of numerous research and government sources and excludes travel and auction sales. The US Department of Commerce figures, which act as a benchmark for eMarketer's projections, also exclude travel and auction sales from its figures.

Vocus Switches to Salesforce.com for Customization Capabilities
Salesforce.com announced that Vocus has replaced its Siebel CRM OnDemand-UpShot Edition with Salesforce.com across offices in North America, Europe and Asia. Vocus is successfully using Salesforce.com to automate and streamline its international sales and marketing processes. Salesforce.com enables Vocus to customize its global CRM to meet specific workflow requirements, as well as add custom fields and tabs to match its business requirements, without any programming effort.

StayinFront and AstraZeneca Extend Relationship
StayinFront announced that AstraZeneca Philippines has selected StayinFront Visual Elk and StayinFront Pocket Elk for its Philippines sales force. AstraZeneca has already implemented a multi-country CRM solution from StayinFront in Southeast Asia and New Zealand. StayinFront will support and host AstraZeneca Philippines from their data center in Singapore.

Selectica Names CEO
Selectica announced that Vincent G. Ostrosky has been named the Company's new Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Stephen Bennion, who served as Interim CEO during the search process, will resume his full-time responsibilities as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
