Parature Adds eProduct
Parature announced the immediate availability of their eProduct module. eProduct, Parature's eleventh module, allows users to manage their product workflow, and update their customers on product availability and delivery status on demand. eProduct expands Parature's support offering, which includes trouble ticket, knowledge base, asset management tool, contact management, a scheduling tool, online discussion boards, real-time chat sessions, and download, survey, and reporting capabilities.   (about Parature)

TCI Precision Metals Selects Epicor
Epicor Software announced TCI Precision Metals (www.tciprecision.com) has selected Epicor Vantage, a manufacturing system that addresses the core business needs of make-to- order (MTO) and mixed-mode manufacturers. TCI Precision Metals will implement Vantage to increase efficiency, maximize resources, minimize costs and improve profitability by automating and streamlining the order cycle. New Astea Reseller in Japan
Astea announced that its new Japanese reseller, ITfor, has made progress since becoming its primary reseller in Japan in April 2004, including securing accounts with MT Services Japan Co. Ltd. and TEC Engineering Corporation. The company is deploying the Astea Alliance suite for 280 service professionals using the Field Service (Contracts) and Logistics software applications. MT Services chose the Astea Alliance service management suite to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.   (about Astea)

Siebel Public Sector Improves Citizen Service for Rotherham Borough
Siebel Systems announced that Siebel Public Sector is enabling Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) to begin providing multichannel access to government programs and services and empower its citizens to access the government services they need. The UK Council's focus on service is part of a pioneering $250 million partnership joint venture with BT to develop a company called RBT Connect -- "Rotherham Brought Together." Under the terms of the agreement, BT will invest $50 million in technology across the Council over 12 years to optimize the delivery of services. The Council expects to save $83 million through improved efficiency, which it will invest back into its citizen services.

eGain to host 2004 North America User Conference
eGain Communications announced that customers, partners and industry thought leaders will participate at the company's upcoming North America User Conference to be held at the Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 4-5, 2004. The conference will feature presentations from industry thought leaders on emerging trends and paradigms in the customer service and contact center space as well as success stories from eGain's marquee customers.

Mercury Survey Reveals Increase in Application Performance Testing
Mercury Interactive unveiled results from an application delivery customer survey of more than 450 quality assurance and performance testing engineers. The survey results identified that complexity, outsourcing and consolidation are driving an increase in the number of applications being tested and the frequency of testing initiatives. When asked about the frequency and number of applications they were testing, survey respondents indicated the following:* 76 percent are seeing an increase in the number of testing projects and * 71 percent see an increase in the frequency of their testing initiatives.

Envision Names Activa Solutions To Expanding Global Reseller Roster
Envision Telephony announced it has signed a reseller agreement with Activa Solutions, a provider of performance improvement solutions for public safety and government organizations, contact centers and financial institutions, expanding Envision's network of partners that offer the Envision Performance Suite internationally. The Envision Performance Suite is an integrated set of solutions including Envision Quality Monitoring, Envision Logging, Envision Workforce Management and Envision eLearning which drive business applications with Envision Business Intelligence to improve enterprise and contact center performance.
