BMC Software Selected by Intel
BMC Software announced that it has been selected by Intel to provide enhanced asset and software management for systems powered by next generation silicon-based management technology. As part of the joint effort, Intel has provided BMC Software with interfaces to Intel Active Management technology as well as use of a tamper-resistant storage space on the IntelR Active Management Technology platform. By utilizing these capabilities, BMC Software will provide enhanced asset and software management capabilities that will enable administrators to remotely track, repair, and deploy critical patch and software updates to systems even if they are powered off or suffering from a system failure.

Scribe Software Announces Changes
Scribe Software Corporation announced to its Reseller Channel new product and pricing changes. Due to customer demand, the Scribe Insight - Migrate License has been modified to incorporate the following changes: Term license reduced from 90 days to 45 days. Term license pricing reduced from $995 to $495. The ability to reactivate the license for 15 days at a cost of $149.

AFFINA Named Top Places to Work in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Area
AFFINA Corporation has been named by Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa among the Top 25 Places to Work in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Iowa area. AFFINA ranked number 16 on the top 25 listing, which was compiled after a research study by Wartburg College students of 120 area businesses. The top 25 businesses were ranked based on employees' responses to the company's work environment, including benefits, workload, access to training, flexibility and other quality of life issues that influence climate of the workplace. The results of the research study were announced in the September 6, 2004 issue of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier.
