Interface Offers New Release for Professional Service Organizations
Interface Software announced the release of InterAction 5.1 RM (related modules), new, market-specific add-on modules that enhance InterAction's core CRM functionality. The modules provide project and pipeline management tailored for vertical markets within the professional services industry.

Navara Launches Navara Mobility Suite 3.1
Navara announced general availability of the Navara Mobility Suite v3.1, an enterprise mobility solution. The Navara Mobility Suite enables companies to extend core business processes and workflow without requiring modifications to back end applications, while ensuring business continuity to and from a mobile work force.

Kana Alert: Soft Q1
Kana became the first software vendor to warn that first-quarter results will come in weak, citing a failure to close several multimillion-dollar deals. First-quarter revenue is expected to be about $13 million, down from $18 million a year earlier and short of the $15.5 million consensus estimate gathered by Thomson First Call.

Avaya to Purchase Tata Shares
Avaya announced an agreement with the Tata Group to acquire its shares of Tata Telecom Ltd., an Indian communication solutions provider. These shares represent approximately 25 percent of the voting equity share capital of Tata Telecom, which is based in New Dehli. Under terms of the agreement, Avaya will pay approximately US$18 million in cash or 220 Rupees per share.

a.p.solve Relaunches as Vidus
a.p.solve has announced its new identity as international brand Vidus. In the year since its spin-out from BT Brightstar, Vidus has seen significant growth on an international level. Vidus' software, taskforce, was designed to synchronize the resources necessary to manage customer experiences. Adoption of Vidus software licenses has increased by 73% and customers now include BT, Centrica, E.ON and NTL. The organisation has established a presence internationally in Germany, Italy and Spain, and a partnership with US based Spirent Communications.

Sento Receives $6.7 Million in Funding
Sento has completed a private institutional equity funding placed by The Shemano Group. In the transaction, Sento sold 634,962 shares, in an at-the-market transaction, at $10.56 per share, to several institutional investors in a private placement. Sento also issued 126,992 42-month warrants at an exercise price of $12.67, which are not exercisable for six months.
