Citrix To Acquire Expertcity Citrix Systems announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Expertcity, a leader in Web-based desktop access as well as a leader in Web-based training and customer assistance products. The transaction is valued at approximately $225 million in cash and stock, with an additional $12 million in stock to be paid to Expertcity stockholders, contingent on achieving certain financial milestones. The acquisition expands Citrix's portfolio of access products to include Expertcity's popular GoToMyPC software service for secure, browser-based access to desktop PCs from anywhere, over the Web. iQDeploy 2.0 Announced iQuate has announced the release of iQDeploy version 2.0. iQDeploy is a software deployment tool, used by organizations to remotely install and remove software across the corporate network. Using iQDeploy, it is possible to deploy software to tens, hundreds and even thousands of PC's across a corporate network, without manual intervention. iQDeploy 2.0 enables system administrators to deploy any application or security patch to any computer on their computer network.
Sprint Signs Contract With Convergys Convergys announced it has signed a seven-year agreement with Sprint to support the company's business and consumer wireless subscribers on Convergys' billing platform. Convergys has provided billing support to Sprint's wireless consumers since 1996, and the new contract allows Sprint to use Infinys, Convergys' portfolio of convergent, pre-integrated, fully supported software applications and modules.
Australian Central Credit Union Invests In Onyx CRM Onyx has announced that Australian Central Credit Union has selected Onyx to underpin its strategy of being a 'member (customer) intimate' organization. Onyx's implementation partner, DMR Consulting, will roll out the Onyx system to nearly 400 Australian Central employees over ten weeks in the second quarter of 2004.
Plumtree And BackWeb Form Alliance Plumtree Software and BackWeb Technologies announced that Plumtree will resell BackWeb's Offline Access Server, giving mobile Enterprise Web users access to applications and content when those users are disconnected from the network. BackWeb's integration with Plumtree products is designed to preserve all personalization and security features while extending the value of the Plumtree Enterprise Web Suite.
