KANA Launches Response 8
KANA announced the availability of KANA Response 8 software. KANA Response 8 joins KANA Contact Center and KANA IQ as applications within the KANA iCARE suite that are available on the J2EE platform. Optimized to support a number of vertical industries, including healthcare, telecommunications and financial services, the application is resulting from the company's offshore outsourcing development model this year.

ATG 6.2 Announced
ATG announced the general availability of ATG 6.2, which includes Web services-enabled capabilities for ATG Commerce and the ATG Relationship Management Platform. With ATG Web Services, organizations can gain the ability to more easily and cost-effectively deliver relevant and meaningful user experiences across multiple sales channels and customer touch points. In response to market demand, ATG's new Web services capabilities leverage the explicit Web services industry standards (SOAP and WSDL) and minimize the common complexities and associated high costs of integrating online and offline information.

Oracle Reports Q2 Earnings
Oracle announced that second quarter revenues were up 8% to $2.5 billion while net income grew 15% to $617 million as compared to the second quarter last year. Earnings per share were $0.12 compared with $0.10 last year.
