Pivotal Acknowledges Receipt of Onyx Proposal Pivotal confirmed that it has received an unsolicited acquisition proposal from Onyx Software. The Pivotal board of directors and its special committee will be reviewing the Onyx proposal and, in due course, Pivotal will announce how it intends to proceed.
Oak Considers Pivotal Offers Oak Investment Partners announced today that it believes that its current all-cash offer is superior to the unsolicited stock-for-stock proposal from Onyx to acquire Pivotal. Oak believes the risks associated with pursuing the Onyx proposal are substantial. Oak states believes there are significant transaction completion risks because it contemplates a stock-for-stock transaction and therefore both parties would have to perform significant due diligence on the other.
General Orthodontic Selects Siebel CRM OnDemand General Orthodontic is among the early adopters of Siebel Systems' new hosted offering, Siebel CRM OnDemand. After considering building its own CRM system and evaluating other hosted options on the market, General Orthodontic selected Siebel CRM OnDemand based on the product's analytics capabilities. Rockwell FirstPoint Finishes Strong Rockwell FirstPoint Contact announced it met its fourth quarter expectations with 4th quarter revenues of $33 million. Total revenue for Fiscal Year 2003 was $112 million, concluding Rockwell FirstPoint Contact's third straight year of profitability.
