State of Connecticut - Powered by PeopleSoft
PeopleSoft announced that the State of Connecticut implemented PeopleSoft's Enterprise Financial Management and Enterprise Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solutions. PeopleSoft's Financial Management system enabled the State to move to a single financial system with common business processes. PeopleSoft SRM has improved the management of Connecticut's portfolio of 80,000 vendors, 2,000 suppliers, and more than 3 million catalog items with a consolidated procurement process.   (about PeopleSoft)

Do Not Call: Are You Ready?
A recent poll of business executives and IT decision makers found that more than two-thirds believe they are prepared to comply with federal Do-Not-Call (DNC) lists. E.piphany reported that 68 percent of respondents reported their companies were either somewhat or completely prepared for the new legislation, which enables telephone subscribers to opt out of many company-initiated cold calls. By contrast, only 10 percent said they were not at all prepared for compliance with the new laws.

RightNow Enables Transcend Services
RightNow Technologies announced medical transcription services innovator Transcend Services is using RightNow’s solution to ensure its ability to sustain fast, profitable business growth. By using RightNow, Transcend has been able to increase its remote workforce from 20 to 300 without having to hire additional help desk staff.   (about RightNow)

DataProse Personalizes with Exstream
Exstream Software announced that DataProse is using its Dialogue software to meet customer demands for faster turnaround. Dialogue is making it possible for DataProse to reduce development time for complex applications, like personalized transactional statements and direct mail, from three months to three to five days.

Amdocs Reports Financials
Amdocs Limited reported that for the fourth quarter ended September 30, 2003, revenue was $411.8 million, representing sequential growth of 9.2% and an increase of 15.8% from last year's fourth quarter. Excluding acquisition-related costs and other items and related tax effects, net income was $51.2 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, and increased by $10.5 million, or 25.6%, when compared to net income of $40.7 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2002.   (about Amdocs)

SPSS Offers Deployment Options
SPSS announced that its enterprise Web analytics solutions are now available in three new deployment models: application service provider (ASP), managed service provider (MSP) and service bureau, in addition to its traditional licensed model. Building on SPSS experience in supporting an ASP model for market research, these deployment options were developed to meet customer demands for outsourced versions of the company's Web analytics offerings, including NetGenesis 6.0 and Predictive Web Analytics.

BroadVision Announces Deployment Center 7.1
BroadVision announced the 7.1 release of BroadVision Deployment Center, an application that allows organizations to control what, where and when BroadVision application assets are deployed, synchronizes deployment of related assets and allows users to track deployment status and detect and correct any deployment problems. Hewlett-Packard is already using Deployment Center 7.1 to manage deployment of portal assets for hpshopping.com, the company's consumer-direct channel for sales of PCs, printers and other consumer products.

911crm.com announced the availability of "CrmSalesExplorer" software product for web based Customer Relationship Management(CRM) for Sales Force Automation(SFA). It is available as software or service ASP. CrmSalesExplorer is a multi-user product that is suitable for Small and Medium Sized Businesses(SMB).
