Interactive Intelligence Launches Product Line
Interactive Intelligence launched an all-software version of its IP telephony product line that uses Intel NetStructure Host Media Processing (HMP) 1.1 software to eliminate the need for voice processing boards. The upgraded product line - which includes Enterprise Interaction Center (EIC), Customer Interaction Center (CIC) and Communite, all leveraging the standards-based Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) - was designed to reduce costs, simplify installation and maintenance, and reduce deployment time.

Motive announced that Warranty Corporation of America (WaCA) will be adding Motive's innovative telephone automation technology, SmartCall, to its Digital LifeLine problem management offering. Oracle announced it will make it easy and enticing to embed Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Application Server 10g in partner solutions for the mid-market. With Oracle 10g, independent software vendors (ISVs) and device manufacturers will be able to more easily embed the software within their solutions. Hong Kong Immigration Department Selects FileNet
FileNet announced that the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region has selected FileNet's ECM solution to help streamline the application process for the recently launched Smart ID Card. Under a new immigration identification system, Hong Kong's seven million residents are expected to replace their traditional ID cards with new multi-application smart identity cards by 2007.
