Rockwell FirstPoint Contact announced its solution for the small- and mid-size call center now includes FirstPoint Business Edition Multi-Site Monitoring and Enterprise Enhancements. The Multi-Site Monitoring enhancement for the IP-enabled FirstPoint Business Edition permits companies that are operating separate call center locations with unique configurations to be managed from any single site or at a centrally located office.

Powered By SAP NetWeaver Initiative
SAP announced the launch of the "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" initiative, a new program designed to empower SAP partners and independent software vendors (ISVs) with the SAP NetWeaver technology platform to build new business applications. The new program builds upon the SAP NetWeaver Partner Initiative, which touts more than 200 partner companies participating.



Aspect Announces Application
Aspect announced the first in a series of analytical and reporting applications for delivering information and optimizing operational performance for contact center managers, supervisors and agents alike. Integrating metrics from throughout the Aspect Uniphi solution architecture in addition to third-party software, these applications deliver "dashboards" of specifically selected and predefined key performance indicators (KPIs) representing best practices in contact center management.



Onyx Releases Solution
Onyx announced the release of the Onyx Account Origination Manager, a new solution designed to help streamline the process of applying for and establishing a new account within various financial services institutions. The solution provides the flexibility required to accommodate a variety of processes -- from opening depository accounts, to applying for a loan, to opening an investment account.

RightNow Technologies announced First Internet Bank of Indiana has used RightNow's customer service and support solutions to deliver improved service to a growing customer base while it simultaneously reduced operational overhead. The bank reduced email volume to its contact center by 25 percent within 90 days of implementation and continues to realize efficiency gains over time. It also uses RightNow's live chat solution to communicate with its customers.
