Accenture And SAP To Deliver IT Solutions
Accenture and SAP have signed an agreement to develop and deliver information technology (IT) solutions for banks and insurance companies worldwide. Together, the two companies will offer financial services companies expanded options for the delivery of IT products and services, including standard solutions, custom solutions and business process outsourcing.

Teradata Delivers DCM 3.1
Teradata announced the release of Demand Chain Management (DCM) 3.1, designed to help leading retailers increase sales and decrease inventory through the most accurate forecasting solution on the market. Teradata DCM 3.1 delivers several new and enhanced capabilities, including Order Forecast Optimizer, which provides retailers and suppliers with an optimized order forecast based on predictive consumer demand down to the level of store/SKU/day, and the Allocation Module, which has been enhanced to provide eight robust allocation methods for store-level product fulfillment.



Cadient Acquires Assets From InterMedia
Cadient announced that the company has acquired key pharmaceutical assets from InterMedia Interactive Solutions-a provider of Internet technology solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Under the terms of the deal, Cadient acquires IMI technology products and key Managemet personnel, as well as offshore development capabilities, all designed to streamline pharmaceutical branding and optimize its commercial potential.



Cognitor Selected By Motorola
Cognitor announced that it has successfully implemented its InteligineAnswer customer service resolution and knowledge management software with Motorola's Global Telecom Solutions Sector (GTSS) in both the iDEN and CDMA Customer Network Response Centers (CNRCs) in North America. InteligineAnswer represents an application of knowledge management to address network issues and process-related knowledge for troubleshooting and board return and repair.



ITtoolbox Study Reveals Steady Increases In IT Outsourcing Worldwide
ITtoolbox conducted an online survey on IT outsourcing. The survey reveals the widespread growth of outsourcing within the IT industry and projects steady increases over the next two years. Of the 612 IT professionals surveyed, 72% revealed that they are currently outsourcing several IT functions, with 14% outsourcing 50% or more of their IT functions.



RareMethod Wins New Accounts
RareMethod Capital announced that Idea Machine, its digital creative division, has won new assignments from the Calgary Science Center and Cross Border Pharmacy. The Calgary Science Center has contracted RareMethod to design a digital activity website for kids aged 6-13 that teaches them about the practical and business aspects of farming.

Sonic Mobility and Vytek Messaging Services announced a joint partnership to sell sonicadmin for TelAlert, a combined solution that enables the delivery of urgent system messages and alerts to handheld devices that can then be used to resolve system issues. sonicadmin for TelAlert is a remote urgent notification and remote resolution solution that integrates with network management software from HP, IBM, Microsoft, NetIQ, Computer Associates, BMC Remedy and others. Customers using these software suites can benefit from the emergence of sonicadmin for TelAlert since the solution serves to wirelessly extend the benefits of enterprise and service management solutions.
