Positive Software Systems announced the commercial availability of ContactQ, a customer interaction data warehouse solution that enables businesses to develop, execute and manage contact strategies from a secure server. ContactQ integrates with customer information management (CIM) systems and multiple hosts, including CRM and other legacy systems, to provide a centralized contact list manager that automates delivery of customer or prospect information to the most appropriate agent at the most appropriate time.

Motive Announces Products
Motive introduced a set of lightweight desktop products that allow outsourcers to provide enterprises with electronic self-service and assisted support capabilities through an on-demand offering. By combining new versions of Motive's Desktop SmartSupport and SmartCall products, Motive is giving outsourcers the flexibility to price and deploy desktop support offerings based on customer choices, as well as provide competitive usage options that increase adoption and drive business value.

TELUS and BenchmarkPortal have formed a partnership that allows TELUS the exclusive rights to offer BenchmarkPortal's services to contact center customers in Canada. The BenchmarkPortal process features an audit in which contact center performance is confidentially measured against a statistically valid sample of other centers comparable in size, types of calls handled, and industry.



News America Marketing Selects ViryaNet
ViryaNet announced that News America Marketing, a News Corporation company, has chosen ViryaNet Service Hub application suite to automate activities performed by its retail field workforce. Under the agreement, News America Marketing will deploy ViryaNet's Mobile Workforce Management application to manage and automate the installation and maintenance of its SmartSource product line and targeted merchandising programs.



AltiGen With Fortinet
Fortinet announced that AltiGen has enhanced its network security and maintained compatibility with its Voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure by upgrading its network security to the FortiGate(TM) Antivirus Firewall platform from Fortinet.



PeopleSoft Receives Top Honor
PeopleSoft announced that it won the "Best CRM Product" award at Advanstar's International Call Center Management Conference (ICCM) in Chicago on August 28, 2003. An independent panel of call center and CRM experts named PeopleSoft CRM the show's Best CRM Product after an evaluation of the product's unique functionalities, benefits for end-users, and customer testimonials.
