Babel Announces BrightSpeech Babel Technologies has announced BrightSpeech, its Text-to-Speech solution (TTS), which has been developed with a library of pre-recorded 'human speech units'. Babel claims the human speech units enable BrightSpeech to offer 'improved naturalness'. The Windows-based solution is aimed at software developers who want to use synthetic speech as an information carrier, or for those integrating synthetic speech into their products or services.
Onyx Ships Customer Portal Onyx announced the general availability of Onyx Customer Portal (OCP) 4.0 and Onyx Partner Portal (OPP) 4.0 -- two of the three integrated portal solutions offered by Onyx as part of Onyx Enterprise CRM. In conjunction with Onyx Employee Portal (OEP) 4.0, these new versions are completely Web services-based, built upon XML standards so they can be fully integrated with other front- and back-office systems, offering low total cost of ownership and fast return on investment.
FrontRange Announces New Customers FrontRange announced that two universities have joined its growing roster of education customers. AspenTech Earns Support Center Certification Aspen Technology announced that its Customer Support Group has achieved certification under the Support Center Practices (SCP) Certification program.
