Rockwell Survey A national survey reports 64 percent of American consumers feel companies with which they frequently interact via telephone are not very respectful of their time. The survey conducted by RoperASW, commissioned by Rockwell FirstPoint Contact, found only 33 percent of American adults feel companies they frequently interact with are "very respectful" of their time. According to the survey, statistics show 70 percent of customers change suppliers because of poor customer service. However, if a company can reduce customer defections by just five percent, profits can increase as much as 50 percent.
