The Web-enabled applications include online asset ordering, project management for marketing collateral, integration with Microsoft Content Management Server 2002, and a Quark plug-in.
European Mobile Network Operator To Use ViryaNet ViryaNet announced that its European partner, e-business specialist Aspective, has licensed ViryaNet Service Hub to a major telecommunications company in Europe. ViryaNet Service Hub will capture logistics and labor activity; monitor, report, and measure field activity; and unite the many constituents of the company's service community through Web browsers, cellular telephones, personal digital assistants, and other wireless devices.
Sand Announces Deal With AOL Deutschland Sand Technology announced that it has entered into a contract with AOL Deutschland GmbH & Co.KG. Under the terms of the contract, Sand will provide a custom-designed Customer Insight solution built on its Sand Analytic Server platform to the German subsidiary of the worldwide ISP.
Metropolitan With KID Metropolitan Health Group (MHG) is using a tool to combat medical aid fraud and abuse. This business tool enhances MHG's ability to conduct utilisation review studies and forensic studies into fraudulent transactions. The business intelligence solution was developed using Netmap from data mining vendor Netmap Analytics, represented locally by Knowledge Integration Dynamics (KID).
Teradata Signs Agreement With Informatica Teradata and Informatica announced an agreement whereby Teradata will serve as a reseller for Informatica's family of data integration software. Informatica's enterprise data integration software will help joint customers to consolidate data from a broad range of operational systems - including key customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning applications such as SAP, Siebel and PeopleSoft. This data can then be loaded into the Teradata data warehouse platform, providing customers with a single source for all their enterprise analytic needs.
Aspect Selected By sabre Aspect announced that the Aspect Enterprise Contact Server has been selected by Sabre, a travel technology, distribution and marketing services provider. Sabre will use Aspect's solution to support customers over multiple communication channels.
