BroadVision announced that KPMG Malaysia has launched an enterprise HR portal powered by BroadVision One-to-One Portal. KPMG's online HR portal is a BroadVision enterprise portal launches by KPMG. With each new phase, KPMG will introduce additional portal functionality and increase value added to their clients.



AIM Technology And Aspect Team
Aspect Communications and AIM technology announced an alliance to allow AIM technology's solutions to be integrated with the Aspect Customer DataMart. Onyx announced its roster of customers that will participate in Gartner's Fall CRM Summit. Onyx will be highlighting five customers -- UPMC Health Plan, Captaris Inc., The Seattle Mariners, Metavante and Suncorp -- via presentations and case studies.



BEA Systems And Chordiant Enter Alliance
BEA Systems and Chordiant announced that the two companies have entered into an alliance that includes joint marketing and sales programs, performance benchmarks and the integration of the Chordiant 5 Enterprise Platform with BEA's WebLogic Enterprise Platform. The resulting partnership was designed to give enterprises a process-centric, data independent, customer management solution built on open J2EE and XML standards, running on the BEA WebLogic Server.

Moving Away From The Branch
Call centers and their agents are set to attain a more prominent role in European retail banks' distribution strategy and customer relationship management, as they cut costs and importantly maintain high levels of customer service. In an executive report just published 'Call and Contact Centers in Retail Banking,' independent market analyst Datamonitor says that European retail banks will look to optimize their call centers further and make corresponding cuts to the bank branch in order to enhance cost savings and customer services capacity. For vendors, this signals further growth prospects for call center technology in the retail banking sector, however, success will hinge on their ability to provide IT solutions that offer marked service improvements and cost savings to retail banks.



Speedware Earns Certification
Speedware announced that its technical support center has earned its third consecutive certification under the Support Center Practices (SCP) Certification program. Speedware was awarded this certification after an audit of its customer support center based in its Montreal headquarters.

NewWorldIQ Secures $7.5 Million In Financing
NewWorldIQ announced that it has secured $7.5 million in additional private venture capital funding from its lead investor, eVerger, which focuses on providing early stage equity and management expertise to companies in the e-marketing sector. This round of funding follows an initial round of $5 million invested by eVerger in February of 2002, that resulted in a merger between NewWorldCommerce and IQ Commerce to form NewWorldIQ.



QlikTech With QlikStart Implementation Program
QlikTech announced a fixed-price software and services combination called QlikStart. The first offering under the QlikStart program includes the QlikView Sales Performance Analysis application, QlikView software for 20 named web users, one year of software upgrades and support, and the implementation services required to deliver the fully functional business intelligence (BI) solution within a matter of days, at a full 30-day, money back guaranteed fixed price of $39,900.



RightNow Gains Certification
RightNow Technologies announced its RightNow eService Center solution version 5.5 has been independently certified as Section 508 compliant. The certification was carried out by Sterling, Va.-based TestPros, which specializes in Section 508 testing and remediation.
