Controlling Costs Survey By eOn
eOn announced findings of a recent survey taken at its annual Users Group Conference. The results show that 75 percent of contact center managers polled see "controlling costs" as the main challenge facing contact centers industry-wide in the year.

Microsoft Acquires Xdegrees
XDegrees announced that it has been acquired by Microsoft. As a result of the transaction, Microsoft will acquire the assets of XDegrees for an undisclosed amount, and a team will relocate to Redmond, Washington. XDegrees focus on delivering solutions for distributed information access has synergies with Microsoft's focus on storage.



Mannatech Installs Eyretel
Eyretel announced that Mannatech has installed Eyretel's contact center optimization products in its three order processing and customer service call centers. Mannetech uses Eyretel's products to assist with dispute resolution and selective quality monitoring for their customer service representatives.

Onyx announced its entry into the market for CRM in mainland China. The company has signed a master reseller agreement with North 22 Solutions, in which North 22 will market and promote Onyx Enterprise CRM solutions in the Chinese market.



UBS Selects Vignette
Vignette announced that UBS has selected Vignette software to build "myUBS," its personalized customer information portal and company intranet to increase customer satisfaction and improve productivity. UBS implemented the portal by leveraging Vignette's support for open standards to integrate back-office systems. The inherent flexibility and scalability of the solution has allowed the bank to modify and increase the size of its Web offering to meet a continuous rise in traffic to the site.



NativeMinds Appoints CEO
NativeMinds announced that Peter Micciche has been named chief executive officer. Micciche, former chief executive officer of Kinecta, will lead the executive management team and shape the vision and direction of NativeMinds.
