ACT! announced the availability of ACT! version 6.0. With over 50 new features, ACT! 6.0 is an upgrade for all previous users of ACT! for Windows. The primary focus of this new release is a new e-mail client and advanced integration with Microsoft Outlook.

Active Software Announces eMill
eMill is a software for creating emailing projects that produce, deliver and automate customized email communication such as: account statements, invoices, receipts, statistics, electronic forms, opt-in newsletters, customer notifications, and targeted one-to-one ads. eMill combines local or external database records with server scripts embedded inside email html or text content to dynamically generate personalized message content.



HP Selects SITEL
SITEL announced that the new Hewlett-Packard (HP) has selected SITEL to develop and run a new customer support program for HP's DeskJet printer business in Europe. SITEL will design, implement, and operate a support model for HP's new DeskJet range of printers. Emphasis will be placed on driving problem resolution to self-service and retail channels, in order to reduce the new HP's customer contact costs.

Federal Home Loan Bank Of Atlanta With Pivotal
Pivotal announced that the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBA) will deploy Pivotal's CRM suite. The bank selected Pivotal's CRM software because of its ability to be customized to match business and technology requirements.



PeopleSoft And Mercury Interactive Expand Alliance
PeopleSoft and Mercury Interactive announced they have expanded their alliance to further help customers accelerate the implementation and upgrades of PeopleSoft applications. PeopleSoft is preparing to provide customers with a Starter Test Kit while Mercury Interactive will offer PeopleSoft customers an Upgrade Package for PeopleSoft applications.

Postbus 51 With KANA eCRM
KANA announced that Postbus 51 has deployed KANA Response software and KANA IQ software to optimize interaction with citizens. Postbus 51 is the Dutch central office where citizens can ask questions about legislation and issues on various laws of the national government.



E.piphany And TIBCO Form Alliance
E.piphany announced an alliance with TIBCO Software whereby the companies will integrate E.piphany's entire suite of customer relationship management (CRM) applications with TIBCO's Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software. Embracing a shared vision for enterprise flexibility through open Java-based standards, the companies' goal is to deliver joint customers better data sharing across heterogeneous applications within the enterprise.



TeleTech Brazil Awarded Agreement With Unilever
TeleTech announced that TeleTech Brazil has been awarded a multi-year agreement with the Home and Personal Care division of Unilever. TeleTech Brazil will provide a variety of customer services for Unilever's customers in Brazil via telephone, email, or letter, including offering product information and support, registering complaints, performing case follow up work, and compiling customer suggestions.



IEX Awarded Best Of Show
IEX announced that the company's TotalNet Call Routing system was bestowed a Best of Show Award for Best Network/Routing product at the Incoming Call Center Management (ICCM) Conference and Exhibition recently held in Chicago. Sponsored by ICCM and Customer Interface Magazine, the Best of Show Awards recognize products and services that warrant special distinction and were judged by an independent panel of call center and CRM industry experts.
