Firstwave announced its partnership with Extreme Logic to enhance Firstwave's eCRM functionality by utilizing a proven .NET framework developed in C#, Microsoft's new programming language for web services. Licensing the .NET framework developed by Extreme Logic aims to allow Firstwave to offer a performance workflow engine that is web services-oriented -- each component is a reusable plug-and-play service.

Gemplus Technology With Onyx
Onyx announced that Gemplus Support Technology Labs has gone live with the first phase of its Onyx implementation on time and on budget. Italian Stock Exchange Selects BackWeb
BackWeb announced that Borsa Italiana, the Italian Stock Exchange, has selected BackWeb ProactivePortal technology in order to comply with government guidelines of delivering information about publicly listed companies to press agencies as soon as the content is available. Additionally, with the BackWeb closed-loop reporting system, Borsa Italiana can track whether or not the recipient has interacted with the information.

KANA Announces Membership
KANA announced its membership in the Web Services Interoperability Organization (WS-I), a cross-industry community that promotes Web services interoperability across platforms, applications and programming languages.
