Telephony@Work announced the launch of version 5.0 of its CallCenter@nywhere platform, a carrier-class contact center solution for hosted services, outsourcers and enterprise contact centers. CallCenter@nywhere 5.0 includes Wireless interfaces for both Palm and Pocket PC-based PDAs delivered on an architecture suitable for carrier deployment.

Convergys Introduces Modules
Convergys announced the availability of two stand-alone application modules, the Convergys Activation Manager and Convergys Mediation Manager. These application modules can be integrated within a client's OSS environment or within a broader Convergys solution for that client.

Customer Relationships Are Not Important - Survey
A survey of UK companies on behalf of Xchange has shown that marketers are disregarding the relationships between co-habiting customers. 39 percent of the marketing professionals surveyed do not capture this information as they consider it to be irrelevant. Customers that appear to bring low return on CRM investment may hold the key to their higher-profit partners or dependants. Xchange believes this is symptomatic of companies' lack of thorough understanding about customers and their lifestyles.

TODO1 Using Oracle
Oracle announced that it will provide its Exchange technology to create TODO1 Mercado Digital, a site where registered companies will be able to buy goods and services efficiently and at favorable prices. In addition, these companies will receive bank credit services. In essence, the advantage is being able to perform trading transactions based on catalogs and conventional contracts, as well as on auctions and quote requests -- all through Oracle's Exchange technology. more »
