Teradata Travel
Teradata introduced the Teradata Travel Logical Data Model (LDM) 1.0 to assist airline, travel agency, bus, rail, cruise line, lodging and car rental companies in creating an architectural blueprint of the information requirements for a Teradata warehouse prior to implementation. An airline, for example, can track customer activity throughout the travel cycle, including Web-based travel planning, purchasing tickets at an airport or agency, traveling to the destination and interacting with the company after travel has been completed.

E.piphany announced that Rank Group Gaming Division has selected E.piphany to help provide its customers with the best possible service. The implementation of E.piphany's CRM solution will benefit Rank's Mecca Bingo, Grosvenor Casinos and forthcoming online gaming businesses that will use the software to improve customer insight and share customer intelligence across existing and potential customer data sources. more »

Magic Software announced release of its Magic eDeveloper v9.01 SP3, which adds native gateways for both Informix and DB2 UDB. Using Magic eDeveloper, which has been certified IBM Server-Proven, customers in heterogeneous environments have the ability to manage and integrate data between Informix and DB2 UDB databases across multiple eServer platforms.

PeopleSoft To Include Quest In Curriculum
Quest Software announced that PeopleSoft University has incorporated Quest Software's application performance tuning solution, SQLab Vision, as part of PeopleSoft's curriculum to educate students on how to enhance the performance of their PeopleSoft environments. The product is being used in a course entitled ``PeopleSoft SQL Tuning for Oracle,'' and features text written by Quest Software's Guy Harrison, a recognized expert in performance tuning on Oracle databases. more »
