Oracle Expands Suite of Contract Automation Applications
Oracle unveiled its expanded vision for automating all aspects of contract management. Oracle Contracts, a component of the Oracle E-Business Suite, is a family of applications that will allow companies to manage their contractual obligations across the extended enterprise, including complex agreements with customers, suppliers and partners. A February 2001 Goldman Sachs report forecasts that spending on stand-alone contract management software will grow from essentially nothing to $3.1 billion in by 2005. more »

E.piphany Expands Agreement With HP
E.piphany announced that it has expanded its existing reseller and integration agreement with Hewlett-Packard to include a broad spectrum of vertical markets. The two companies have established their presence in North America and Europe and are now extending their reach into regions including Asia Pacific and Latin America within verticals such as Financial Services, Travel & Leisure, E-commerce, Manufacturing and High-Technology.  more »

Olympus America Selects Metrix
Metrix announced that the Diagnostic Systems Group of Olympus America Inc. has selected the Metrix 4e eProductService automation suite to manage their service operations. In the United States there are over 1 billion clinical chemistry tests annually, about one in four are performed on Olympus analyzers. Olympus expects to be up and running with the Metrix suite within 90 to 100 days. more »

The solution combines Pivotal's sales solution with Miller Heiman's sales methodologies to help companies improve the effectiveness of direct and indirect sales forces. US Filter, a division of Vivendi Corporation and a joint Pivotal-Miller Heiman customer, has deployed the solution to introduce best practices for sales across its organization.

Cable & Wireless Selects Witness
Witness Systems announced that Cable & Wireless has selected its eQuality suite of monitoring and evaluation software to enhance quality and performance in its IP-enabled contact centers. Cable & Wireless is implementing Witness Systems' eQuality Balance and eQuality Evaluation solutions in its Manchester and Warrington, U.K. contact centres to enable simultaneous recording of both the voice and data portions of its agent-customer interactions.

Olan Mills With Magic Service Desk
Magic Solutions announced that Olan Mills implemented its browser-based Magic Total Service Desk (TSD) solution in nine days. Olan Mills uses the Magic TSD software to manage communication and mission-critical issues across its retail stores.

24seven Goes Live With SAP
Logica announces the 'go live' of an implementation of SAP for 24seven, a UK utility network operator. The project, completed in just 10 months, is also the UK's first implementation of an SAP Work Management solution in the utilities industry. Work Management aims to enable 24seven to address the challenges of delivering improved service levels whilst reducing the cost of managing and maintaining assets.
