To Provide Support For Amazon.com
gem has announced an alliance with online retailer Amazon.com to enhance
its customer service network. The three-year contract begins in September
2001. The agreement, which is subject to gem shareholder approval, also
provides that Amazon will take an equity position in gem.

Adopts Peregrine
Peregrine announced that Nestle S.A. will use Peregrine's ServiceCenter 4
solution for managing its IT services. ServiceCenter 4 will replace the
