Nextera unveiled a CRM initiative that integrates its competencies in
market and channel strategy and human capital management with technology
solutions to address CRM needs. Nextera believes that if a CRM system is
not supported by management, if it is not clearly defined in job roles, if
people are not incented to use the system, if they don't see the value or
benefit of it - a CRM effort is going to fail. Nextera aims to provide a
CRM solution that deals with all of these problems.
ViryaNet
And ClickSoftware Partner
ClickSoftware announced a reseller partnership with ViryaNet. Under the
terms of the agreement, ViryaNet will bundle ClickSoftware's scheduling
product, ClickSchedule, with Service Hub, its wireless workforce
management solution. This product aims to enable service managers to
optimize scheduling their workforce by selecting qualified field engineers
for specific jobs.
Cox
to Standardize On Aspect/Kana
Aspect and Kana announced that Cox will standardize its contact center
operations on the Aspect/Kana integrated solution. This offering combines
the Aspect Customer Relationship Portal with Kana's Web-architected eRM
solution.
Delano
And Braun Form Alliance
Delano and Braun Consulting announced an alliance to deliver customer
intelligence solutions. Working closely with Delano, Braun has provided
project management and consulting services to shape Delano Discovery
Marketing, an e-marketing application that leverages analytical algorithms
to create an organization's online marketing campaigns and measure its
effectiveness.
ServiceWare
And HDI Partner
ServiceWare announced that RightAnswers.com will be available to members
of HDI as an offering on HDI's online store, SupportSuperStore.com. HDI
members who subscribe to RightAnswers.com will have access to
ServiceWare's Knowledge Channels, which provide technical support
knowledge from technology companies including Microsoft, Novell and Lotus.

Financial Uses MicroStrategy
MicroStrategy announced that Chela Financial is building its sales,
profitability and portfolio analysis applications on MicroStrategy's
platform. MicroStrategy business intelligence software allows reporting
against a data source and enables Chela users to analyze student loan data
on its parent and student borrowers.
BroadVision
Powers RedEnvelope
BroadVision announced that BroadVision powers online gift retailer
RedEnvelope. In future enhancements to the RedEnvelope site, BroadVision's
technology will provide personalization capabilities, such as personalized
gift recommendations, and mobile commerce features that will allow
RedEnvelope customers to shop using wireless devices.
Aspect
Powers CRM Practices
Aspect announced that Aspect's technology is powering the CRM practices of
more than 150 companies in Australia and New Zealand. Fortune 500
companies across industry segments, such as hospitality, banking, energy
and communications, are using Aspect products as the foundation for their
eBusiness initiatives.
