Releases Delivery Product
MicroStrategy announced the availability of MicroStrategy Narrowcast
Server 7.0. It extends the reach of business intelligence by delivering
content and analysis from the MicroStrategy 7 platform and other back-end
sources to a company's key constituencies, such as employees, partners and
customers.
Astute
Releases Modules
Astute announced five modules for its product PowerCenter. The modules
expand the Internet, telephony and reporting capabilities of PowerCenter,
which is used to manage customer interactions by companies such as
McDonald's, Michelin and The Kroger Co. With the new modules, PowerCenter
users can enhance their ability to process email, use their Web site for
customer management, decrease response times to customer inquiries, and
improve the productivity of customer contact center personnel.
NewBold
To Manage With Astea
NewBold has selected ServiceAlliance CRM software from Astea to improve
productivity of the company's customer service operations. ServiceAlliance
will be used to centralize management of service contracts, company and
customer-owned inventories, field service, depot repair, helpdesk and
dealer support services.
NEBSonline
Selects LivePerson
LivePerson has been selected by NEBSonline. NEBSonline is using
LivePerson's service for its client services function. Liveperson's Live
Chat assists clients with the use of NEBSonline, a website that empowers
participants of 403(b), 457 and 401(k) retirement plans with the ability
to monitor and restructure their portfolios online.
AbleCommerce
Picks iCommunicate
iCommunicate announced that AbleCommerce will deploy the iCommunicate.NET
technology as a component of its customer support strategy. iCommunicate
will provide access to a self-help/self-service knowledge base, the
ability to initiate contact with AbleCommerce's support center via e-mail
and the capacity to track interactions using an assigned personal case
number.

Peregrine announced that its E-Markets Group is taking a leadership
position in forging universal e-Commerce standards by adopting support for
the Universal Description, Discovery and Integration Project.
