Primus and Support.com announced an alliance to integrate the companies'
technologies to automate, enhance and personalize customer support for
end-users. The software solution will be designed to enable end-users to
solve technical problems via online self-service and assisted-service
capabilities.
FirePond
Releases New Version
FirePond announced version 9.0 of FirePond Business Rule Engine (BRE).
This version establishes the company's Web-based sales configurator as an
independent application that can be deployed with product, pricing, and
needs analysis functionality and maintained by line of business managers.
FirePond BRE also drives the FirePond Application Suite for the selling of
products across sales channel.
PrimeResponse
Selected by Amicus
Prime Response made its second announcement releasing news that Amicus has
selected PrimeResponse's Prime@Vantage.com to create, execute and refine
multiple customized marketing initiatives. As part of their purchase,
Amicus will also retain PrimeResponse's marketing optimization application
Prime@Vantage Optimizer which will provide CIBC with capabilities to
conduct optimization across eMarketing targets, channels and offers.
Onyx
Announces OEP
Onyx announced the general availability of Onyx Employee Portal (OEP) 2.5,
the third major release of Onyx's Web-based CRM portal. OEP, the flagship
product in the Onyx 2000 line of e-business portals, was designed for
companies seeking to merge their online and traditional customer
management processes around a technology platform.
eLoyalty
Helps GMAC
eLoyalty announced an additional project at GMAC Residential. GMAC
Residential is currently implementing a CRM project across multiple
business units that aims to streamline business processes, build a common
technology and delivery infrastructure, increase customer service levels
and strengthen lifetime customer relationships. As a first step of this
project, GMAC Residential is using eLoyalty's Loyalty Valued Added
methodology to quantify the tangible, economic benefits of each of its
planned customer loyalty initiatives.
ServiceWare
Partners With Seamless
ServiceWare announced its partnership with Seamless Technologies. With the
addition of Seamless to its partner reseller program, ServiceWare will
expand its sales, marketing, and services coverage, particularly in
industries that Seamless specializes in, including telecommunications and
financial services.
iCommunicate
and Perfect Portal Join Forces
iCommunicate announced a partnership with Perfect Portal to deliver
Internet-based business solutions and end user support through a
customized browser gateway. Perfect Portal, an ASP Aggregator of delivered
Internet services and software will provide the iCommunicate.NET customer
service technology through a desktop workspace.

Bean Deploys eGain
L.L. Bean has selected eGain to provide a solution to support the
company's online customer service needs. With the implementation of the
eGain Commerce platform, L.L. Bean adds an online avenue to maintaining
its legendary customer service philosophy.
Acxiom
and Xchange Partner
Acxiom and Xchange announced an alliance by which Xchange is using
Acxiom’s AbiliTec software to enhance its eCRM software solutions.
AbiliTec is the Customer Data Integration software powered by technology
launched by Acxiom in 1999 to help them create an improved view of their
customers.
Epicor
and Knosys Sign Alliance
Epicor announced the recent signing of an agreement with Knosys. Epicor
and Knosys will collaborate on the design and development of a
pre-packaged, portal-based business intelligence solution that gives a
company's customers, suppliers and employees the tools to perform queries
and obtain answers to business issues.
