and Quintus Enter Partnership
Siemens and Quintus announced a partnership between Quintus and Siemens to
develop and market next CRM solutions by combining the worlds of Internet,
mobile business and voice communications. Siemens has agreed to invest
US$72 million in Quintus and, in return, obtain approximately 8 million
shares or 19.9 % of the outstanding stock in the Company.

Acquires KnowItAll
Answers.com announced the acquisition of KnowItAll. The acquisition gives
Answers.com an edge in the Web-enabled customer interaction space by
adding text chat, audio, video, email management, remote application
control, white boarding and a media “normalization engine,” which
allows messages and responses to questions from online site visitors to be
handled in a single interface regardless of the initial type of inquiry.
Epicor
Introduces Second Generation eFrontOffice
Epicor Software announced that it is delivering phase two of its Web
client for Epicor eFrontOffice, powered by Clientele. The newest version
of the Web client allows users to access customer data housed in Epicor
eFrontOffice via a Web browser that displays the same user interface as
the standard Windows client.
Agilent
and Oracle Agreement
Oracle and Agilent have signed an agreement that paves the way for Agilent
to optimize its global operations and further enhance customer
responsiveness through the use of Oracle's tools. Agilent will deploy key
components of the Oracle E-Business Suite worldwide to its 46,000
employees for accounting, manufacturing, supply-chain management,
purchasing, service and other core business functions.

Metrix
Partners with Hypercosm
Metrix announced a partnership with Hypercosm with the goal of taking a
visual approach to e-Service. Through this partnership, companies using
the Metrix e-Service suite will be able to allow their customers or field
force professionals to log onto the web and work through product service
issues with 3D graphics using applications developed by Hypercosm.
ChanneLogic
Launches New Product
ChanneLogic will be giving away a software package at the DCI CRM show in
Los Angeles. The ASP-based free product is called MyChannels and is a
piece of their larger, portal-based application. The ChanneLogic product
will allow anyone to sit at a computer, pull up the ChanneLogic desktop
and provide information to make management decisions about their company's
channel business.

Prime Response announced an integration toolkit and professional service
offering that links the Prime@Vantage relationship marketing suite with
analytics, call center and sales force automation applications, such as
SAS Enterprise Miner and Siebel Systems eBusiness Applications.

Adds to ServiceSuite
MessageMedia announced that it has added three new e-mail-based services
to its ServiceSuite family of customer care tools. ServiceSuite
encompasses e-mail-based, web-based and agent-based service offerings
designed to provide outsourced solutions to meet the demand from online
