Delano announced it has acquired Digital Archaeology in a deal valued at
US$87 million based on Delano’s closing share price on October 13, 2000.
The acquisition enables Delano to bring to market a solution that
integrates Digital Archaeology’s analytical products with Delano’s
e-business platform and eCRM applications.

Communications Releases Kana 6
Kana Communications announced the release of Kana 6. Integrating multiple
communications channels (phone, email, Web, wireless, in-store), with
marketing, service and sales e-business applications, Kana 6 aims to allow
customers, partners and the enterprise to interact. Kana 6's
Internet-architecture is flexible and can be implemented faster than a
traditional CRM solution.
FedEx
Deploys YOUcentric
YOUcentric announced that FedEx has deployed YOUrelate from YOUcentric to
its 2,800 sales management and professionals in the U.S. The YOUcentric
solution will be an instrumental tool in facilitating communication across
the FedEx sales force.

Response Announces Eleven Alliances
Prime Response announced eleven strategic alliances including Clarify,
McCann Relationship Marketing Worldwide, Viador, MarketSwitch, NetGenesis,
Business Objects, Quadstone, Quaero, eBusiness Advantage, Mphasis-BFL and
DataMentors. The combined solutions aim to provide eMarketers with the
tools to create, execute and refine targeted marketing initiatives that
increase customer satisfaction, boost retention and maximize lifetime
value.
HQ
Global Workplaces Adopts Everdream
Everdream announced that HQ Global Workplaces has selected Everdream’s
subscription computing service for their centers. All HQ Global Workplaces
employee PC and notebook users will be transitioned to a standardized
Everdream platform. Everdream provides IT services such as a 24/7 live
call center support, secure online backup, virus protection and “bug”
fixes, diagnosis and repair, self-healing capabilities, office software,
training, and unlimited nationwide Internet access including Web-based
email - all included with Everdream desktops, laptops, servers and small
office networks.
MicroStrategy
and PriceInteractive Announce Partnership
MicroStrategy announced that it has entered into an agreement with
PriceInteractive. MicroStrategy will use PriceInteractive's SpeechPort
platform to enable voice browsing for its suite of MicroStrategy Voice
Services that deliver messaging and information services.
Emerson
Agreement With E.piphany
Emerson Electric has entered a licensing agreement with E.piphany that
includes all modules of the E.piphany E.5 system. Using the E.piphany E.5
system, Emerson divisions will have the capability to integrate aspects of
the customer experience by collecting, analyzing, sharing and acting upon
customer information.
Eyretel
Announces Siebel Validation
Eyretel announced that the integration between its customer interaction
management solution and Siebel eBusiness Applications has been
successfully validated by Siebel Systems. With this validation, customers
of Siebel Systems and Eyretel can now access Eyretel's recording and
analysis system from within Siebel eBusiness 2000.
