Selects Applix
Applix announces that Siemens Business Services has selected Applix’s
iEnterprise for its CRM offering to customers in Australia. In partnership
with systems integrator Australian Information Processing Centre, Siemens
will provide Applix’s iEnterprise to help companies better respond to
the needs of their customers and provide predictive business analysis.
ServiceWare
and Leveraged Technology Join Forces
ServiceWare announced a partnership with Leveraged Technology (LTI). LTI
will recommend and implement ServiceWare’s eService Suite for companies
dedicated to online service and support as part of their overall customer
service goals. The relationship will combine the integration skills of LTI
with ServiceWare’s Java and XML-based solutions for e-service.
Everdream
with VentureTech Network
Everdream announced an agreement with Ingram Micro’s VentureTech
Network. Ingram MicroServices will provide a solution center, secure
online back-up, virus protection, instant bug fixes, help, diagnosis and
repair, self-healing capabilities, and Internet access including Web-based
email.
Xdrive
Relies on Kana
Kana announced it has been chosen by Xdrive to enable the company to
deliver customer email response to its 5.5 million users. Kana is an
Internet-architected solution that enables Xdrive to interact with
subscribers of its individual user offering and to deliver responses. Kana
also provides reporting capabilities to track performance on the site as
well as database frameworks to build customer histories.
OpenAir.com
and Epicor Partnership
A new alliance between OpenAir.com and Epicor Software will enable
Epicor's Platinum for Windows customers to access Web-based professional
services automation (PSA) tools. OpenAir.com is integrated with Platinum
for Windows by Epicor through an XML interface via a ``connector'' which
acts as a data pipe through which information flows between the two
systems, eliminating the need for data rekeying.

McLelland Moves to iCommunicate CTO
iCommunicate has named Steve McLelland as CTO. McLelland, who just
celebrated his 25th birthday, is also celebrating ten years as part of the
innovative team behind the iCommunicate technology. As CTO, McLelland will
oversee product development and technological enhancements for
iCommunicate.
