Launches Java Edition
Delano announced the availability of the Java Edition of the Delano
e-Business Interaction Suite, which enables organizations to develop and
deploy e-business applications to manage interactions with customers,
partners, suppliers, and employees. The Java Edition extends Delano’s
support and integration for industry standards to include the Java
platform and the complete set of technologies encompassed within the Java
2 Platform, Enterprise Edition, including Enterprise JavaBeans.
Brightware
Suite Preview
Brightware announced that it will preview its eCustomer Assistance suite
at Upside’s premier LAUNCH! event on October 5, 2000 in San Francisco.
LAUNCH! serves as a demonstration platform for companies both to introduce
their products to industry influencers and to obtain feedback on their
positioning and launch strategies.

Introduces Annuncio Bright
Annuncio announced the availability of its e-merchandising and web
personalization solution, Annuncio Bright. With Annuncio Bright, marketers
can target offers to web site visitors based on customer profile or site
behavior data, and promote products or services. Additionally, marketers
can analyze, test and refine marketing strategies that convert visitors to
buyers and buyers to loyal customers.
Jefferies
Selects Janna
Janna announced that Jefferies & Company has selected Janna Enterprise
Suite 2001 to help them synchronize customer interactions across their
Institutional Sales, Research and Corporate Finance units. Jefferies will
use LivePage, a component of the Suite, to leverage information to provide
self-service via the Web.
InvokeSystems
Selects iCommunicate
iCommunicate announced that InvokeSystems has selected the
iCommunicate.NET e-service suite for its Custom Development and
Integration divisions. InvokeSystems chose iCommunicate.NET for its case
management capabilities, two-way messaging, knowledge base and metrics
reporting.
EDS
and ServiceWare Form Relationship
EDS announced the company has entered into an alliance with ServiceWare to
integrate ServiceWare's eService Suite with EDS' new CRM solutions. Based
on ServiceWare's patented Cognitive Processor, a statistical engine that
learns with each interaction, eService Suite enables companies to organize
and reuse knowledge.
Applix
and ALPNET Join Forces
ALPNET and Applix announced that they are providing localization of
Applix’s iEnterprise release in the Chinese and Korean markets. ALPNET
is localizing an English-word base of software, documentation and help
text for iEnterprise into both Chinese and Korean, with more detailed
Chinese translation into both traditional and simplified character sets.
Sun
and E.piphany Sign Agreement
Sun Microsystems and E.piphany announced an alliance to provide customers
with a CRM solution. E.piphany will leverage Sun's sales and marketing
organization to jointly promote E.piphany's CRM solutions to customers.
Sun endorses E.piphany as a CRM vendor and premier partner.
