TeamOn and Control-F1 announced a partnership to jointly provide a suite
of hosted email, contact management and eSupport solutions to small and
medium sized corporate helpdesks. TeamOn provides web-based e-mail and
communication tools and Control-F1 provides Internet based communication,
diagnostic, and system management.
Social
Security Admin Deploys RightNow
RightNow Technologies announced the Social Security Administration (SSA)
has deployed RightNow Web as its online customer support system. The SSA
implemented RightNow Web to provide the public with a way to find answers
to their questions. The SSA's public service system includes about 1,400
field offices and the largest 800-number system in the country. RightNow
Web complements SSA call centers because the system makes it easy for
people to find answers to their questions via the Internet.
Chicago
Board Of Trade Taps Vignette
Vignette announced that the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) selected the
Vignette V/5 E-business Application Platform to provide investors with
improved access to online information, services and market data. The CBOT
chose the Vignette Platform for content management, content delivery and
personalization.
ServiceWare
Announces eService Central
ServiceWare announced a new Internet-based customer service initiative,
eService Central, which gives ServiceWare customers and employees a new
destination for customer service. In addition to providing ServiceWare
users an additional Web self-service channel for questions on the
company’s products and services, eService Central showcases how eService
technologies from ServiceWare and its partners are designed to work
together.
Pegasystems
for New Zealand Association
Pegasystems announced that the New Zealand Association of Credit Unions
has selected a Pegasystems eCRM solution to provide Internet capabilities
to its member organizations. The system offers participating credit unions
account inquiry, payments and funds transfer.
BroadVision
Signs With Compaq
BroadVision announced a relationship with Compaq for the development and
marketing of solutions built on BroadVision's suite of e-business
applications and Compaq's ProLiant servers. BroadVision applications on
Compaq ProLiant servers will be featured on Compaq's ActiveAnswers Website
and will be available beginning in the fourth-quarter of 2000.
Andersen
Consulting and Calico Overseas
Andersen Consulting and Calico announced they are extending their existing
alliance and will offer a package of eBusiness selling solutions in Japan.
This extended alliance brings clients in Japan a combination of e-Commerce
and CRM experience and offerings from Andersen Consulting and eBusiness
selling software from Calico.
Delano
with Gartner Group
Delano announced a three city executive seminar series designed to provide
senior level executives with insight into the convergence of e-business,
e-commerce and eCRM. The seminar series, entitled “Great Minds Think
Alike”, is hosted by Delano and features insight from Gartner Group.
