Convergys
acquires Taima
Convergys ounced the acquisition of Taima and their 800 employees. Taima
adds to Convergys' technical support capabilities in the ISP sector. It
utilizes the dynamics of technical help desk support and contact center
management to structure and engineer services that meet the needs of its
Internet-based clients.
Sideware
and DoxSys Team Up
Sideware and DoxSys have teamed up to offer DoxSys' customers live,
electronic eCRM service. As a new Sideware e-business partner, DoxSys will
integrate Sideware's Java eCRM solution, Dr. Bean, into DoxSys' business
solution offering. DoxSys is well-known for integrating and implementing
imaging technology, document management and workflow automation functions.
Tally
Systems New Release
Tally Systems announced the availability of a new Java-based Software
Developer Kit for the latest release of its IT asset tracking software,
TS.Census. The new version will provide a pathway for full access to data
gathered with Tally Systems Census recognition technology, allowing
network management software vendors access to the IT asset data for their
own applications.
Motive
on Target
Motive announced that Target has implemented Motive's e-service solution
to provide team members with access to answers and experts in order to
solve problems. Motive e-service reduces monthly technical support calls,
enables IT organizations to scale for growth by improving problem
resolution, and provides more effective employee service.
Ultramar
Diamond Shamrock with Magic
Magic announced that Ultramar Diamond Shamrock has standardized on the
Magic Total Service Desk product to enhance the company's internal and
external customer service capabilities. Ultramar has tailored the Magic
solution to record all incoming customer complaints and point of sales
calls. The product is also being used internally to streamline business
processes by monitoring project management.

Selected to Join Symantec
Expertcity.com announced an agreement with Symantec to participate in
Symantec Web Partners program. Expertcity.com’s Desktop Streaming
technology will be available through Symantec’s Norton SystemWorks 2001.
Symantec users will be able to access and register for Expertcity.com’s
tech-support services from the Norton SystemWorks user interface.

Chooses Kana
Kana announced that the company has been selected by Cashback2.com to
provide solutions for real-time customer assistance. Cashback2.com has
implemented Kana as the cornerstone of its 24/7 live chat customer
service, where real estate agents, buyers and sellers can ask questions
and receive immediate online response.
SalesLogix2000
Multi-Lingual
Interact Commerce announced the availability of SalesLogix2000 for French,
German, Spanish and Italian languages. Interact Commerce has extended its
European operations by opening corporate offices in Germany and Spain,
extended growth of Business Partners into a total of 53 countries and
added senior management and staff in Europe.
