ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 29, 2005--Witness Systems (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) (NASDAQ: WITS - News), a leading global provider of workforce optimization software and services, today filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission a prospectus relating to an underwritten public offering by Witness Systems of 3,800,000 shares of common stock. The shares being offered are registered pursuant to a shelf registration statement that was declared effective August 11, 2004. The company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 570,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any.
