The Inventory Lifecycle Management solution ensures that organizations have access to an accurate, complete and up-to-date HP OpenView Service Desk CMDB. Time required for initial population and maintenance of the Service Desk CMDB can drastically be reduced while increasing ROI and reducing TCO at the same time!
Inventory Lifecycle Management enables virtually unlimited out-of-the-box capabilities to collect data from multiple data sources like Radia, NNM, OVOW, CMDB of any HP OpenView Service Desk system, SMS, Altiris, as well as data retrieved from the Barcode Manager module and from spreadsheets.
This solution will unify, categorize and combine the gathered data, compares it against data in the CMDB and selectively or automatically updates attributes of and relationships between CI’s in the CMDB of HP OpenView Service Desk.
